“The summer looks out from her brazen tower, through the flashing bars of July”
-Francis Thompson

4th of July:

We and our partner warehouses are closed in observance of Independence Day.

60 Day Aging AR:

Please be aware that our Accounts Receivable Team will no longer actively pursue anything aging past 60 days.

Summer Slowdown in Europe:

While there is a fairly accurate belief that “Europe Goes On Vacation in August,” it is important to note that we do not. Due to reduced trucking capacity from carriers, coupled with an increased sense of urgency of export markets rushing to get wines collected before August, pickup lead times take a bit longer during the months of July and August. Please note on all PO submissions if there are any closure dates that we need to be aware of prior to collection. It would be prudent to plan for an extra week of lead time for orders placed over the next four weeks; however, we hope to achieve our average projected lead times throughout the summer months.

Direct-to-Trade in Washington D.C.

We are excited to announce the opening of our Washington D.C. distribution service.

Inventory stored at Fond du Lac in Edison, NJ is utilized to supply DC retailers and restaurants. As this market is new, during the ramp up, we will use a cross-dock method. This will allow us to avoid managing a separate inventory location in DC.

  • Tuesdays: Order cut off is by 2 pm EST
  • Wednesdays: Orders are picked and labeled at Fond du Lac and consolidated onto pallets.
  • Thursdays: DC bound pallets are picked up at Fond du Lac and tricked to D.C.
  • Fridays: Last mile delivery to accounts facilitated by local courier.
